Report Campaign Finance Violation

Complete the form below to report a campaign finance violation to the Ohio Secretary of State’s office. Additionally, anyone can file a complaint with the Ohio Elections Commission. Information on how to file a complaint with the Ohio Elections Commission can be found on the Ohio Elections Commission’s website. PLEASE NOTE: Under Ohio law, complaint forms or letters may at some time become “public records” subject to disclosure under the Ohio Public Records Act. Documents that are deemed to be public records are available to the public, including the media, upon request for review, copying, and release. We urge you to send personal identifying information (for example, Social Security number, bank account numbers, or credit card numbers) by U.S. mail rather than via the Internet. When doing so, please reference the complaint number that will be assigned to you. Please be sure to send copies of supporting documents, not the originals.
